Devon Coast to Coast (Two Moors Way)
The Devon Coast to Coast route was opened in 2005, when the Two Moors Way was combined with the Erme-Plym Trail, linking Wembury on the south Devon coast with Lynmouth on the north Coast of Exmoor. A 117 mile (187 km) walk across the remote and rugged open moorland landscapes of Dartmoor and Exmoor.
The route takes you through the wild and remote landscape of Dartmoor, up over open moorland, down wooded valleys and through villages, It then takes in the rolling Devon countryside and quiet country Lanes before the wooded river valleys and moorland of Exmoor and the North Devon Coast. You will travel through a variety of landscapes from the granite Tors of Dartmoor and the wide expanses of moorland, through woodland, farmland, deeply wooded valleys and historic villages with great views.
